Mangaluru/Udupi, Jun 8: Dakshina Kannada district Qazi Shaikhuna Alaaz Twaka Ahmed Musliyar instructed to celebrate Bakrid (Eid-Al-Adha) on June 17 in coastal districts of Karnataka as the first moon of Dulhaj month is sighted on the night of Saturday.

On June 16 will be Arafa as per the information provided by Qazi. This was conveyed to media by Haji Mohammed Hanif, chief secretary of Masjid Zeenat Baksh and Edgah.
