Kaup: Missing youth’s mortal remains found at Padukare beach

Kaup, Jun 8: The mortal remains of Karna Salian (20), who went missing mysteriously after parking his bike and other valuables near Kaup beach, were found on Padukare beach in Malpe.

Karna Salian told his family members that he was going to the market at around 3 pm on June 5. However, he did not return until late. His bike, high-end iPhone, and wallet with cash were found near Kaup beach. Family members and locals searched for Karna near Kaup beach.

Narayana Salian, father of the deceased Karna, filed a complaint in this regard with the Kaup police station. The police began searching for the missing Karna. Locals at Padukare beach in Malpe informed the police that the mortal remains of a person were found floating in the sea. They brought the remains to the shore. The matter was relayed to Karna's family members, who confirmed that the body was indeed that of the deceased Karna.

The mortal remains of Karna were taken to the government hospital in Udupi by Kaup Soori Shetty.
