Mangaluru, Jun 8: Art Kanara Trust, Mangaluru, and Kavita Kutira, Peradala, in cooperation with the senior students of Navajeevana High School, Peradala, Kasargod, will be celebrating the birth anniversary of the late litterateur ‘Nadoja’ Kayyara Kinhanna Rai, on Saturday, June 8 at Kodialguthu Centre for Art and Culture, Kodialguthu (West), Mangaluru at 5 pm.
Advocate Kallige Taranath Shetty and Dr Saigeetha Hegde, head of humanities, Nitte Deemed to be University will deliver the tribute speeches.
Durgaprasad Rai, president, Kavita Kutira, Peradala and Subhas Chandra Basu, president, Art Kanara Trust will grace the occasion.
The programme will include a preparatory meeting for the release of a book, ‘Aikyave Mantra’ an anthology of writings by writers from Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Kasargod region.
