Mangaluru, Jun 8: Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker U T Khader has voiced his disapproval over the upcoming India Vs Pakistan T20 match slated to be played on Sunday in New York.

Khader expressed, “We ought not to engage in cricket matches with Pakistan. As long as Pakistan continues to ignore India's concerns, we should refrain from participating in matches with them. We have witnessed tensions escalate when Pakistan played against India before. Until Pakistan ceases to be a source of trouble for us, we should abstain from competing against them."

“Misunderstandings persist, leading to a lack of communication between India and Pakistan. They have even halted playing in India. So, what purpose does it serve to play against India in Dubai and New York?", he wondered.

“When Pakistan has declined to host the Indian cricket team, why are the two teams playing in New York? India should emerge victorious in the T20 World Cup. However, it should not merely be a win but one that brings honour to the nation. May God grant strength to our players to deliver a resounding defeat to Pakistan,” Khader said.
