Kadaba, Jun 10: A refrigerator explosion led to a fire in the home of Farook, a resident of Adagadde Anganwadi in Kadaba taluk. The incident occurred around 3 pm on Sunday, resulting in the destruction of electrical equipment and important household records.

At the time of the explosion, Farook, his wife, and their children were at home. Shortly thereafter, Farook’s wife and children left to attend a wedding, and Farook himself went to his shop near the tahsildar’s office. Fortunately, no one was home when the explosion occurred, preventing a potential tragedy.

The refrigerator, which was purchased five years ago, suddenly exploded, igniting a fire. The exact cause of the explosion is still unknown. Neighbours noticed smoke billowing from the house and quickly realized it was on fire.

Local residents alerted the authorities, and emergency services responded to extinguish the fire.
