Udupi, Jun 10: BJP Manipal ward members celebrated the oath taking ceremony of the Prime Minister of India for the third time in a row on June 9.

Under the leadership of Yashpal Suvarna, MLA of Udupi constituency, and Kalpana Sudham, Manipal municipal ward member and members of BJP Manipal ward, live telecast of the oath taking ceremony of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi was telecasted through LED screen near Tiger Circle bus stand. Along with it sweets and Modi tea were distributed and firecrackers were burnt as a part of the celebration.

On this occasion, Herga Dinakar Shetty, Udupi BJP district general secretary, Shyamala Kunder, former member of National Commission for Women, Sumitra Nayak Parkala, former president of municipal council, Ashwini R Shetty, office bearer and district president of Mahila Murcha, Nitin Pai, secretary of district Yuva Murcha, elders of the party, members of BJP Manipal ward and others were present.
