Raipur, Oct 23 (IANS): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader L.K. Advani Sunday denied that he would not visit Bangalore as part of his ongoing Jan Chetna Yatra and said the trip was very much on.
"I don't have any knowledge that my scheduled trip to Bangalore has been cancelled. I am hearing from you that it has been cancelled," the former deputy prime minister told reporters here.
"I will go to Karnataka and of course to Bangalore as well," he said.
Informed sources had said Saturday that Advani would skip his rally in Bangalore Oct 30 as former chief minister of Karnataka B.S. Yeddyurappa is jailed on corruption charges.
Advani reached Chhattisgarh Saturday on a two-day schedule of his yatra.
