Mangaluru, Jun 12: The placement cell of Padua College of Commerce and Management, Mangaluru, in association with IQAC & department of commerce and management, organized a Mega Job Fair 2024 on June 8 in Padua auditorium.

Fr Walter D’Souza, correspondent of Padua Educational Institutions, presided over the programme. The chief guest for the programme was John B Monteiro, president of Rachana chamber of commerce and industry, Mangaluru.

Fr Arun Wilson Lobo, principal of Padua College, briefed about the Mega Job Fair in his message. Jesfrida Menezes, IQAC coordinator, welcomed the gathering, Prof Prashanth D’Costa, placement officer, proposed the vote of thanks.

Reshma D’Souza compered the event. Prof Roshan Santhumayor, vice-principal, and Seema Pereira were present during the programme. A total of 48 companies participated in the mega job fair.

The total number of candidates who registered for the job fair was 485, out of which 232 candidates were shortlisted and 99 candidates got selected for various positions.
