Udupi: Four injured in ghastly accident at Ambagilu

Udupi, Jun 14: A car hit a road divider at Ambagilu injuring four people travelling in the vehicle on Thursday June 13 night.

The car was moving from Santhekatte to Ambagilu.

The driver lost control over the speeding vehicle and hit the road divider. The parts of the car were strewn all over the road. The engine of the car was thrown to quite a distance due to the impact.

Four people suffered minor injuries. Police visited the accident spot and conducted investigation.

    third world country...third class infrastructure..ambagilu junction is one of the worst when it comes to road construction....what more can be expected in highly corrupt country....Jai puli kali....marwai masa...thotte giraki

    No. It does not need a flyover. The highway crossing from Ambagilu towards Santhekatte needs to be cancelled and a properly designed U turn should be provided further away on the highway between Ambagilu and Karavali. The highway crossing in front of Abharan motors also should be cancelled for the safety of highway users.
