Mangaluru: Vehicular traffic prohibited on Maravoor old bridge

Mangaluru, Jun 14: In an order taken out by deputy commissioner (DC) Mullai Muhilan, movement of vehicles on old Maravoor bridge is prohibited till it is repaired.

Several heavy and light vehicles travel through old Maravoor bridge on the Mangaluru-Athradi state highway 67 which connects to Mangaluru international airport. However, till the complete repair of the foundation of second pillar of the bridge is over, movement of vehicles on this bridge is prohibited. All vehicles have to move through the new bridge as per the order of DC.
