Childhood friends bag first, second ranks in Mangalore University

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Jun 16: In a rare occurrence, two childhood friends have secured the first and second ranks in the Mangalore University postgraduate section.

Bhagyalaxmi and Shilpa, who have been friends since their Anganwadi play school days, continued their studies together up to their M.Sc. They achieved the first and second ranks in MSc (Industrial Chemistry) at the Mangalore University convocation held on June 15. They received medals from the Governor of Karnataka on Saturday.

Interestingly, the houses of Bhagyalaxmi and Shilpa are adjacent to each other in Bannur, Puttur. The duo mentioned that they maintained a healthy competition in their studies and celebrated their achievement with family members. Both are currently working for a private company.

@Rolf and @Real kujuma Why are you involving politics here. They worked hard to reach their goal and in the end they achieved it. Be happy for their achievement and appreciate. Every time it is not right to mix other issues. While commenting stick to the main subject only.

Good childhood friends are hard to find difficult to leave and impossible to forget in the present world.⁹ Bhagyalaxmi and Shilpa are the real example helping each other and acheiving success with number one rank and two respectively reminds me of the proverb, A friend in need is a friend indeed.
