Udupi: Udupi district Youth Congress celebrates Rahul Gandhi’s birthday

Udupi, Jun 19: The Udupi District Youth Congress celebrated Rahul Gandhi’s birthday at Malpe beach on June 18.

A sand sculpture of Rahul Gandhi was made at Malpe beach. Udupi District Youth congress Celebrated Rahul Gandhi’s birthday by cutting a cake.

M A Gafoor, vice president, Karnataka Pradesh Congress, said, “Rahul Gandhi came from a family background who have dedicated their life for this country. Through his Bharat Jodo Yatra, he tried to unite the nation. This step of uniting nation will be marked as history, as how Gandiji’s satyagraha is marked. He worked to create employment, strengthen communal harmony and democracy. Today, he is celebrating his 54th birthday. I hope he becomes a great leader of this nation."

Ramesh Kanchan, president Udupi block Congress said, “With a goal, Rahul Gandhi has been working for the Congress party. We are confident that he will become the prime minister of this country in the future. Let he get the strength to work for the welfare of people.”

Sweets were distributed to people surrounded.

Kisha Hegde, working president Udupi District Congress, Deepak Kotian, president Youth Congress Harish Kini, president Udupi assembly constituency campaign committee, Geetha Wagle, president Mahila Congress, and others were present.
