Constable Hurt in Kashmir Guerrilla Attack

Srinagar, Oct 25 (IANS): A police constable was injured in a separatist guerrilla hit-and-run attack in south Kashmir's Anantnag town Tuesday evening, police said.

Earlier in the day, three paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force troopers were injured in two grenade attacks in Jammu and Kashmir's summer capital Srinagar.

Tuesday's attacks have come ahead of the likely announcement by the state government revoking the controversial Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act (AFSPA) from certain areas of the state.
