Udupi, Jun 20: In a heartwarming display of humanity, the bus driver and conductor of an APM bus exemplified kindness by returning a lost gold chain to its rightful owner.

The incident unfolded when a passenger traveling from Brahmavar to Kundapura on Thursday, June 20, in the morning, misplaced her gold chain while on the bus. Alert to the situation, the vigilant bus conductor and driver found the lost item and ensured its safe return to the owner.

Girish Kundapura, the bus agent, recounted the sequence of events, saying, "The girl seemed worried, and after some hesitation, she confirmed she had lost her gold chain on the bus she had traveled in. I asked her to show her bus ticket and immediately contacted the APM bus driver, as I am the agent for that route."

He continued, "When the bus passed through the same route in the afternoon, the girl's relatives were able to collect the gold chain from us."

This act of honesty and compassion highlights the integrity and community spirit of the bus driver, conductor, and agent involved, who went above and beyond to ensure the lost item was reunited with its rightful owner.
