Kundapur, Jun 21: The mortal remains of the youth who was washed away in the sea at Beejadi beach have not been found, despite a search that lasted throughout Thursday.

T R Yogeesh (23), a native of Tiptur taluk in Tumkur, is the youth who drowned in the sea. He had come with his friend Sandeep. Both were swept away by violent waves. Sandeep was rescued by locals.

Yogeesh's family arrived in Kundapur on Thursday. Kundapur circle inspector Nanda Kumar, sub-inspector Prasad Kumar, and their personnel searched for Yogeesh's body but were unsuccessful. Due to the violent sea conditions, searching with boats is difficult.

According to officials, even the coast guard's boats cannot enter the sea at this time.
