Mangaluru: Srinivas University celebrates International Yoga Day

Mangaluru, Jun 21: Srinivas University organised International Yoga Day at Srinivas University's Pandeshwara new campus on June 21.

The session commenced with a serene yoga session led by renowned Yoga Guru Radha Krishna Guruji, founder & director of Prakriti Yoga Kuteera, Kadri, Mangaluru. Mustafa, managing director of Bharath Constructions, who also graced the occasion with his presence and shared insights into the benefits of yoga.

Dr Ajay Kumar, development registrar of Srinivas University, extended a warm welcome to all attendees, emphasizing the importance of yoga in promoting physical and mental well-being.

Dr Sonia Noronha, dean of the institute of port shipping & logistics management, Dr Venkatesh Amin, dean of the institute of management & commerce, and Dr Subramanya Bhat, dean of the institute of computer & information science. heads of various departments, faculty members, and enthusiastic students also actively participated in the yoga session.

Dr S Rajashekar, dean of the institute of physiotherapy, delivered a gracious vote of thanks, and Dr Prem compered the programme.
