Udupi: BJP observes International Yoga Day

Udupi, Jun 22: Udupi BJP observed International Yoga Day at Kaup, Kundapur, Karkala and Byndoor on June 21.

B Y Ragavendra, MP Shivamogga, inaugurated the International Yoga Day celebration held at Kollur Maha Shakthi Kendra, by lighting the lamp. Shridhar Acharya, yoga instructor, conducted the yoga practice session.

Jithendra Shetty, president Kaup Mandala, inaugurated the International Yoga Day celebration held at Veerabhadra Sabha Bhavan, Kaup. Sumithra, yoga instructor conducted the yoga practice session.

International Yoga Day was celebrated at Kundeshwara temple, Kundapur. Vivek Pai, yoga instructor conducted a yoga practice session.

Naveen Naik inaugurated the International Yoga Day celebration at Anekere Basadi, Karkala. Ashok, yoga instructor conducted a yoga practice session and was felicitated on the day.

Gururaj Gantihole, MLA Byndoor, Deepak Kumar Shetty, president, Byndoor Mandala, Shrikanth Nayak, secretary, district BJP, Gopal Krishna Rao, chief-secretary Kaup Mandala, Sudeer K S, chief-secretary BJP Mandala, Kundapur, Reshma Uday Shetty, chief-secretary, district BJP Sathish Bola, chief-secretary, Mandala, Niranjan Jain, president BJP Karkala and others were present.
