Beltangady: Auto-rickshaw overturns due to cattle rope, driver seriously injured

Beltangady, Jun 24: An auto-rickshaw driver was seriously injured after his vehicle overturned when the tires got entangled with a rope tied to cattle by the side of the road at Guripalla Koddolu in Kanyadi village on Sunday.

Ramanna Gowda, a local auto-rickshaw driver, suffered serious injuries and has been admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru. There were three passengers in the auto-rickshaw heading to Madanthyar, who sustained minor injuries and were admitted to a private hospital in Ujire.

The three-wheeler was completely damaged in the mishap.
