Udupi, Jun 24: A free health check-up and blood donation camp held at Christ School, in collaboration with Muniyal Ayurveda Institution and Kasturba Blood Centre, Manipal, on June 22.

Fr Romeo Lewis, correspondent delivered a motivational speech, emphasizing the importance of service and community involvement.

Sathish Salian, Blood donor, speaking on the occasion, highlighted the importance of blood donation and encouraged others to participate.

This event was a significant initiative aimed at promoting health awareness and encouraging community service among the attendees.

The programme commenced with the inaugural ceremony.

The event witnessed the active participation of nearly 100 individuals who availed themselves of the free health check-ups. As many as 50 individuals contributed themselves in giving blood. This remarkable turnout underscored the community’s commitment to health and social responsibility.

The free health check-up and blood donation camp at Christ School was a resounding success, achieving its goal of serving society and fostering a spirit of community service among all participants. This initiative not only provided immediate health benefits but also encouraged a culture of giving and mutual support.

Eliza Vaz, principal welcomed the gathering. Shanthi hosted the programme.
