Bantwal: Container truck stuck at sharp turn near Allipade, traffic disrupted

Daijiworld Media Network – Bantwal (MS)

Bantwal, Jun 27: A container truck traveling from Bengaluru got stuck at a sharp turn in Allipade near Aneja on the Uppinangady-Sarapadi-Manihalla road.

The truck, originating from Bijapur, was using Google Maps to navigate from Uppinangady to Mangaluru. The app directed the driver to use the Uppinangady-Ajilamogaru-Manihalla road due to ongoing highway construction. However, this route is not suitable for heavy vehicles. At the Aneja bend, the truck, which was too long to make the turn in one go, required several forward and reverse manoeuvres and eventually got stuck.

Buses traveling on the Sarapadi-B C Road had to take alternative routes, causing inconvenience to the residents of Sarapadi and Maninalkooru.

What a scenery in front!I Think driver too was seeing it and eyes were not on road. Whatever map you use one should concentrate on road in front . Specially when a big tanker should be driven not at rush hours. Now was he successful to go forward?
