Udupi, Jun 29: The first consultation meeting for this year's Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebration was held at Kanakamantapa in Sri Krishna Math, with the presence of Paryaya Puthige Math Swamiji.
“Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebrations are very popular in Mathura and Dwarka. Although Udupi is known as Krishnanagari in the South, the celebration here has not gained much national and international recognition. This time, Sri Krishna Janmashtami should be celebrated with full splendor and grandeur,” stated Paryaya Puthige Swamiji.
This year, the world-famous Sri Krishna Janmashtami will be celebrated on August 26, followed by Krishna Leelotsava on August 27.
Members of the Paryaya Swagata Samithi were present at the meeting.
