Kundapur, Jun 29: In a significant breakthrough, the Shankaranarayana police arrested two individuals on Saturday June 29 in connection with a cow theft incident that occurred in the early hours of June 25.
The accused arrested are identified as Nizamuddin A H and Mohammad Ansar from Asaigoli, Mangaluru.
According to the police, the theft took place at around 1:48 AM in the Shankaranarayana city area. The case was registered at the Shankaranarayana police station. A team led by PSI Nasir Hussain and Shambulingaiah M E successfully tracked down the accused and seized the vehicle used in the theft.
The accused were presented before the court, which has remanded them to a 15-day judicial custody.
