Kundapur: Incessant rains cause well collapse, no fatalities reported

Daijiworld Media Network – Kundapur (MS)

Kundapur, Jun 30: The well and its compound wall at the residence of Akkamma Devadiga on Gopadi Road, Ankadakatte near Koteshwara, collapsed on June 29 due to incessant rains.

The heavy downpour over the past two days also caused artificial flooding in Koteshwara, Beejadi, and Gopadi areas.

Gram Panchayat member Lokesha Ankadakatte has urged villagers to clear pathways for stagnant water to flow, as the waterlogging may lead to further mud collapses.
