KE holds unique members meet to explore art of storytelling

Bengaluru, Jul 1: Kanara Entrepreneurs (KE) delved into a unique members meet to explore the art of storytelling on June 21 at The Grand Magrath here.

KE lead member George Timothy led with the KE prayer and initiated the evening with a good start. The KE president’s welcome note from Claudius Pereira engaged the members with a reflective and humorous story encouraging entrepreneurs to take the plunge and seek opportunities. His message urged members to persevere and not give up in the face of adversity.

Claudius went on to acknowledge the outgoing board of directors, their support and mentorship and introduced the new board to serve KE for the coming year: Naveen D’souza (president elect), Leena Lobo (director memberships), Pramod D’Souza (director mentoring), Roshan Sequeira (director events) and Sunil D’Sa (director marketing and sponsorships).

Next, Leena facilitated the solemn induction ceremony for bringing seven new members into the KE fold. It was worth noting the various industries that continue to enrich the KE network.

Leveraging the opportunity to showcase the member businesses, Anthony Raj (Friendly Realtors and Property Management) and Jasmine Pinto (Finzcurve) delivered their business pitches. The presentations were eye-opening with some key industry information as well as gave a glimpse of their business journeys.

The guest speaker, Deepak Justin (deejay’s Inner Circle), engaged the members with a slice of his skills – storytelling. He shared stories of inspiration and experience with his own mentors and some key points were to ‘Tell Better Stories’, explore how one tells them, and to keep a list of stories by asking questions.

Leena, once again graced the stage to introduce the KE brand ambassadors - a team of 11 KE members who will be working to deepen member engagement as well as enhance the KE brand identity. The vibrant energy and keenness of the brand ambassadors to enhance the KE culture was evident on stage through their camaraderie and mutual interaction.

The vote of thanks was crisply delivered by Elton Joy D’Souza smartly covering all aspects of the evening - from planning to execution. The evening was brilliantly hosted by Deon Gomes who brought a great touch of humour, curiosity and organization to the flow of events.

The KE members meet was brought to a successful close over dinner, conversations, fellowship and networking. Many thanks to the KE board of directors, mentors, lead members and members for their active involvement and support.
