Yatish N appointed SP of Dakshina Kannada, C B Ryshyanth transferred

Mangaluru, Jul 3: In a significant reshuffle, the Karnataka state government has issued orders transferring 25 IPS officers late on Tuesday night.

Among the notable transfers, C B Ryshyanth, the superintendent of police (SP) for Dakshina Kannada (DK) district, has been moved to Bengaluru, where he will now serve as the SP for the wireless division.

Ryshyanth had taken charge as the SP of DK in May 2023.

Taking over from Rishanth is Yatish N, previously the superintendent of police for Mandya district.

Yatish N is an IPS officer of the 2016 Karnataka cadre.

    State Police under state political party and powerful people. If you under central Govt they cant transfer like kittens one place to other. May be he found some thing big in DK dist. Transfer and close the chapter.

    I think very less Officers in DK or Udupi Dist who worked full term in our region Reasons may be different..... but the truth is never unfolded
