Mangalore, Oct 29: As per the direction of Mangalore North police station SI Vinay A Gaonkar, Barke police station SIs Siddesh and Povappa H M and staff members on Saturday October 29 arrested four persons involved in various robbery cases reported in the city recently.

Yogish (34), resident of Mahakali Padpu, Jeppu, Anil Barboja (32), resident of Preethi Nagar, Prashanth Shetty (30), resident of Yekkur, and Ranjan (47), resident of Mahakali Padpu, are the arrested.

Yogish is said to be the mastermind of the team. The arrested are accused in other assault, attempt to murder, and murder cases too.

The four would come in auto rickshaws and rob youth wearing gold ornaments. They would first taunt their intended victim by asking questions like, “Do you tease girls?” and would take the victim in a rickshaw to remote places and then rob them. This went on for nearly one-and-a-half months.

Police seized 38 grams of gold worth Rs 1 lac, knife, and mobile phones used by them. Police traced the gold sold by these people at three shops—VRS Finance, Hampanakatta, Akshaya Finance Hampanakatta, and New Lavanya Jewellers, Bolar.

Excellent comment Sir...Truly hats off to you for your thinking...On one side of the society while people like you and me are trying to have a harmonious life there are other people also who judge people based on their communities...As preached by all holy books Universal Brotherhood is the only thing that can help us today and your words have rightly proved it Sir...God bless You...

Sachidananda Shetre.. eereg ithela Gothayijja.. Actually these are not the original culprits. They are just a short time actors. To escape from the blame ,police team stages such show by covering pre-arranged actors face. In real these are some known person to the police who agrees to act like suspects for a short period for some amount. Then the police parades them face covered in front of the media to save them from their inability in nabbing the original culprits. If they are real culprits, Their face should be exposed to the general public so that public can identify them next time in their attempt.

Why Police Team cover these Chors faces in Black Cloths? Let our Society know them well so that we are care full when they resurface somewhere else. Dear Friends condemn each and every member of Robbery Team and try to help Judicial to convict them if you can irrespective of their Cast or Religion to get their deserved punishment
