Beltangady: PTA general body meeting held at Anugraha English Medium School, Ujire

Beltangady, Jul 8: The general body meeting of the PTA for the year 2024-25 was held on July 6 at Anugraha Auditorium. It began with a prayer dance by the students, followed by the welcome address by Arpitha, principal.

Fr Vijay Lobo briefed the parents on the activities of the academic year 2024-25. Prof Leo Noronha, lecturer, Sacred Heart College, Madanthyar was invited as the guest speaker who spoke on “Healthy Parenting.”

SSLC toppers Anshula Shreshta, Prashamsa, Gowthami, Shreya, Shraddha, Ashmitha and Kashmi were felicitated by the management. The new members of the executive body of PTA was appointed. Dr Prashanth was appointed as the vice president of Parent-Teacher Association.

Fr Abel Lobo, the correspondent of the institution, spoke on the responsibility of parents and he advised that along with academic excellence, values are also important for the all-round development of students.

Vice president of the Parish Council Antony Fernandes, vice president of the PTA executive committee Dr Prashanth and members of the management committee were present.

 

 

Ashwini proposed vote of thanks and the programme was compered by Ravi Kumar.
