Mangaluru, Jul 9: Nandan Mallya, president of BJP Yuva Morcha, criticized the Congress party, suggesting that Ramanath Rai should focus on educating Rahul Gandhi rather than supporting him. Mallya also labeled Ivan D'Souza as an accidental MLC with no right to speak about Dr Y Bharath Shetty. He challenged Rahul Gandhi to specify what the Congress party has accomplished for Hindus over the past 60-70 years.

Addressing the media on Tuesday, July 9, at the BJP office in Mangaluru, Mallya stated, "Rahul Gandhi's pretense of being Hindu is transparent. Once he became Leader of the Opposition, he revealed his true feelings about Hindus by labeling them all as rowdy, which has deeply hurt the sentiments of Hindus nationwide."

He further noted, "Rahul Gandhi did not condemn the remarks made by his alliance partner, DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin. Additionally, he remained silent when the TMC Mayor claimed that the Muslim religion is supreme and advocated for converting everyone to Islam."

Mallya criticized the Congress party's historical stance, stating, "The Congress party has previously suggested that Lord Ram is an imaginary figure. They need to clarify their contributions to Hindus during their 60-70 years in power. The Congress party’s unwavering support for Rahul Gandhi indicates they value him more than their religion."

He continued, "Ramanath Rai, who began his political career during Indira Gandhi's tenure, should be guiding Rahul Gandhi instead of supporting his misguided actions. Ivan D'Souza, who became a minister by chance, has no right to comment on Dr Y Bharath Shetty, who won his election by a large margin."

Mallya concluded by questioning Ivan D'Souza, "Would you remain silent if someone insulted Christianity? During the Lok Sabha elections, the Congress party declared that Dakshina Kannada is not the stronghold of Hinduism. The protest held in Kavoor is just the beginning; we will not stop until they apologize to the Hindu community. The BJP Yuva Morcha will continue to fight for the rights of the people."

Arun Seth, Umesh Beltangady, Varun, Nishanth Poojary, Avinash Suvarna, Prakash Garodi, Rakshith Poojary, Bharath Raj, and others were present at the press conference.
