Udupi, Jul 10: A youth was arrested for drug consumption on July 6.
The accused is identified as Mohammad Naufil.
Puneeth Kumar B E, PSI Udupi city police arrested Mohammad Naufil, during an investigation at the police station, discovering that he was in an intoxicated state. The accused Naufil was then brought to the KMC forensic medicine department for testing, suspecting the consumption of a narcotic substance.
It was confirmed that Naufil consumed ganja.
A case has been registered at the Udupi police station.
