Kundapur, Jul 11: An elderly man who went to pick coconuts in the farm accidentally slipped and fell into a well on Wednesday at Badakere village.
The deceased is Manjunatha Shet (85), an agriculturist.
His son, Raghavendra Shet, went searching for his father when he did not return home for a long time on Wednesday morning. He noticed his father's footwear floating in the well.
The Kundapur fire service was informed, and they quickly arrived on the scene to retrieve the body from the well.
