Udupi, Jul 11: The district development and senior citizens empowerment department donates tricycles to physically challenged persons. A distribution programme was held at Asha Nilaya, Bailur.

Subrahmanya, who was facing difficulties while walking was identified by Nithyanada Volakadu, a social worker and provided the department with oral information about the difficulties of physically challenged persons.

Ratna Suvarna, district disabled welfare officer; Shivaji, project assistant district disabled and civic empowerment department; Manjunath R Hebbar (MRW), Divya, Warden Asha Nilaya, and Nithyanada Volakadu, social worker, were present.
