Heavy rainfall: Schools, PU colleges to remain closed in DK on Jul 15

Mangaluru, Jul 15: Due to heavy rainfall and the resultant flooding in Dakshina Kannada (DK) district, a red alert has been declared.

In light of this, the district administration has announced a holiday on Monday, July 15 for Anganwadi centers, primary,  high schools and pre-university colleges.

As a precautionary measure, the holiday has been declared for primary, high schools and PU colleges only, and not for degree colleges and above, informed an official release by deputy commissioner Mullai Muhilan.
