New Delhi, Nov 3 (IANS): Former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh Thursday went to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) complaining of a respiratory problem, four days after he was discharged from the hospital.
"I have come to AIIMS as I am having a respiratory problem," Amar Singh, wearing face mask, told reporters at AIIMS.
Also on Thursday, a Delhi court allowed Amar Singh to visit Singapore Nov 8-30 for treatment of his kidney infection.
The court released his passport to enable him to travel.
Amar Singh, arrested Sep 6 for alleged involvement in an attempt to bribe MPs ahead of the July 2008 parliament trust vote, in what came to be known as the cash-for-votes case, had been granted bail by the Delhi High Court Oct 24 on humanitarian grounds.
He had been admitted to AIIMS Sep 12 due to an infection in his kidneys that were transplanted in 2009. He was discharged Sunday.
