In his reaction to the budget on social media platform X, the JDS leader said the budget identifying nine priority sectors giving a boost the education, employment and skills with an outlay of Rs 1.48 lakh crore to create 4 crore jobs.

He said the budget gives financial strength to the MSME sectors, which play a key role in employment generation.

Budget gives sops to AP, Bihar, ignores Karnataka

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar has termed the budget as nothing but ‘Save Modi and NDA government’ exercise with nothing for Karnataka.

Speaking to media persons near Vidhana Soudha on Tuesday, he said the budget is aimed at giving special emphasis and financial assistance to Andhra Pradesh and Bihar, the two States which are crucial for the survival of the NDA government.

“The budget has completely ignored the States ruled by INDIA block and is only an exercise to help BJP and NDA-ruled State governments,” he said criticizing the discrimination between BJP-NDA and INDIA block ruled States.

Shivakumar said the Union Finance Minisiter Nirmala Sitharaman, who is elected from Karnataka, has totally ignored and completely disappointed the State. The budget has disappointed the expectations that the Centre would give financial assistance for completion of all pending projects in the State, he added.

Rightly said it's Narishakti, fox power... Not Naarishakti. Cunning fox tactics used to save the govt by bribing Bihar and Andhra allies. Shame on the centre, especially the FM who gets elected from Karnataka every single term. Truly said is Narishakti for sure.
