Byndoor, Jul 23: MP B Y Raghavendra stated, “The seventh budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, under the union government led by PM Modi, is an all-inclusive budget poised to make India the fastest-growing economy in the world.

"Inflation was at 5.8% last year. This year, it will be brought down to 4.5%. This budget will aid in achieving that target. Additionally, the GDP, which is currently at three trillion, will grow to five trillion. Economists have opined that the GDP will rise from 6.5% to 7%.

"The budget has organized robust programs to ensure that 7.8 million young men and women will gain employment annually until 2030. Employment generation is expected to see significant growth in the industrial production sector.

"Comprehensive development of agriculture is given prime importance in the current budget. The Pradhan Mantri Gareeb Kalyan scheme is extended for five more years, providing rice to the poor. Alongside prioritizing the comprehensive development of the education sector, the loan limit for higher education has been increased. The budget also emphasizes employment and skill development. The loan limit of the Mudra scheme has been increased to prioritize self-employment. Women empowerment is given considerable importance.

"Under the Pradhan Mantri Awaas scheme, three crore new houses will be built in rural areas for poor people. The next phase of the Pradhan Mantri Grameen Sadak scheme will be implemented, providing good road connectivity to more than 20 lac rural residential areas. Steps are taken to establish an International Tourism Hub to boost tourism further. Public convenience is enhanced through improvements in the income tax system,” he said congratulating finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman and PM Modi for presenting such an all-inclusive and comprehensive budget.
