Mangalore: Former Jaycee Queen under House Arrest – Daughter Seeks Release

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (SP)

Mangalore, Nov 4: Sheen Sathish, a resident of Bangalore, has filed complaints with Karnataka State Commission for Women as well as the city police commissioner, seeking their interference to secure release of her mother from the clutches of her father. Sheen gave this information at a press conference held here on Thursday November 3.

Sheen has accused her father, K P Suresh Raj from the city, of keeping her mother, former Jaycee Queen, Vilasini Raj (60), under illegal confinement in a dark room since 1990. She wants that her mother should be provided with treatment after being admitted into a good hospital. She claimed that her father has been neglecting the needs of her mother since the last two decades. She accused her father of having an illicit relationship and meting out harassment to her mother on this count. In spite of a court order, she said she and her husband are not being allowed to approach Vilasini.

“I was in the Gulf region with my husband, Sathish Chandran, for several years. Now I live with my husband at Bangalore. As my mother has not been allowed to come out of her room since long, she has lost her mental balance. She urgently needs treatment. She should be provided with medical treatment immediately,” she urged.

The press conference was attended by Sathish Chandran, state president of People’s Union for Civil Liberties, P B D’Sa, secretary, David D’Souza, Augustine Rodrigues, Bartram Pinto, and Birg C D’Souza.

My mother happens to be the niece of Mr. Suresh Raj.I have seen what Sheen had suffered in her life after manorama stepped into her house as the mistress of her father. After marriage Sheen was never allowed to enter the house and whenever she went to see her mother she was forcefully thrown out of the house. Before you comment try to know the real story. People who doesn't know the real story doesn't have right to comment on this issue.

It is a fact that in this century we are more familiar with greedy daughters/ sons, but sheen is an exemption. She is fighting for a good cause, if u can't support her at least don't discourage her. Pray that nobody will ever have to go through what Sini aunty ( Vilasini) Sheen and her brother had to go through. Regarding Sheen's brother he is silent because he still depends on his father for his day to day life and he doesn't have the guts to stand against his rich and influential father.
Sheen , let people comment whatever they want, don't give up. You are fighting for your mother. We are with you & We are proud of you & Satish. We are eagerly waiitng for the day you will take Sini aunty out of that jail.

The greedy daughter should be happy that the mother has been looked after by the father and the son.  What is making the greedy daughter and the greedy son-in-law come back now?

Obviously after the daughter gets married she has to move to her husbands house. The comment "Once she got married she and her husband were chased out of their mother's house, though the house doesn't belong to Suresh Raj". How do you know that the house does not belong to Suresh Raj. Please do not get into others family matters without knowing the fact from Suresh Raj's side as well. I guess you and the so called daughter is doing all this to gain some money.

How come that the daughter was not known the status of her mother from last two decades (20 yrs.) or not come to the rescue of her mother. She could have atleast lodge the Police complaint or with Women's cell with the help from Social organisation etc.

Daughter of Vilasini,Sheen had no chance or means to enter into the house nor talk to her mother since her father and Manorama paramore of of her father Suresh Raj did not allow her to get into the house. as a young lady before marriage she had no money with her to fight back.
Once she got married she and her husband were chased out of their mother's house, though the house doesn't belong to Suresh Raj. Vilasini had'no say' in the house as Manorama was the boss in the house. the daughter was in the middle east with her husband Sathish for over ten years to eke out a living. the moment she came to bangalore and settle down she has started the process of saving her mother from her illegal detention.
""She is now fighting heaven and earth to save her mother's life, it is not a joke to fight powerful and crooked people.""
