Udupi, Nov 4: Nazira Anwar, principal of Sahlihat PU College, Tonse Hoode near here, has secured M Phil degree. The degree has been awarded to her by Chennai-based Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha.
The degree has been conferred on Nazira, on the basis on her thesis on the subject, ‘Malati Joshi Ki Kahaniyom Mein Manaviy Samvedanaye’.
The thesis was prepared and presented by Nazira under the guidance of Dr Madhavi Bhandary, head of the department of Hindi, Poornaprajna College, Udupi. Nazira is the wife of Anwar Saleem, an entrepreneur based in Malpe.
