Kasargod: Bus-Lorry Collision at Kumble Leaves 15 Injured

Kasargod, Nov 4: In a head-on collision between KSRTC Bus and a lorry, near Kumble National Highway, beside Kumble Devi Talkies, here at least 15 commuters sustained injuries.

The accident occurred on Friday November 4 at around 8.30 am.

Those victims are identified as Mallika (40) of Bekoor, Missriya(23) of Pachlampare, Bhaskar(65) of Krishnanagar, Priya (24) of Naya Bazaar in Uppala, Sameer(28) of Mogral, Manjunath(30) of Kumble, Sathish(28) of Manjeshwar, Narayana(35) of Madhur, Vishwanath(48), Anish, Jeevan, a student (15) of Mannamguyi, Akshay (18), Vishwanath(30) of Kotekar in Ullala and the Lorry driver Rohith of Maharashtra.

All of them have been admitted to nearby hospitals. The KSRTC Bus was plying from Mangalore to Kasargod and the lorry was transporting rubber sheets to Mangalore. Traffic was disrupted for a while after the head on collision.

    sir , kasaragod n manjeshwar the road is fully damaged . no one can speak about the matter.all the party members r silent. vip persons wont to ride in this road he know what's the local persons r not saying the true valuable news. I'M REQUESTING U SIR mangalore 2 kasaragod main road it should be repair within 2 weeks n i wish u will do the same . we protest when the road is not in gud condition. thanks 4 u in this matter n also please do the same work .
