Mumbai: Tulunada Isiri cultural and literature committee holds Vashika programme

Mumbai, Jul 26: Vasheeka and Tulunada traditional sports were held on July 21 under the leadership of Tulunada Isiri Vapi cultural and literature committee presided over by Tulunada Isiri Vapi president Balakrishna S Shetty.

Balakrishna Shetty flagged off the sports programme by lighting the lamp along with honorary president of the association Sadashiva G Poojary, women wing members and guests entrepreneur and social worker Mahesh Shetty Silvas.

In his introductory speech Balakrishna Shetty said, “Tulunada Isiri association is proud of the way it has grown over the years without language, culture, traditional sports, respect to elders, encouragement to youngsters and harmony. This organization was born to unite the Tulu Kannadigas who have come to Vapi Gujarat are of Suburban Mumbai for employment.

Isiri vice presidents Ganesh N Shetty, Naveen Shetty, secretary Udaya B Shetty, joint secretary Sukesh Shetty, sports and cultural sub committee convener Pushparaj Shetty Puttur, women wing convener Rajini B Shetty, Shirshititha Udaya Shetty, Hotel Honey Garden owner Sridhar Shetty, Kiran Anchan, Anil Shetty, Chethan Devadiga, Nikit Shetty and Sooraj Shetty were present. Udaya B Shetty welcomed and rendered vote of thanks.
