Mangaluru, Jul 26: Two police officers displayed a humanitarian gesture by helping a man who accidentally fell into a drain at Pumpwell. The man was reportedly in a drunken state.
Head constable Tippeswamy and Wilson Fernandes, both attached to the Jeppinamogaru traffic police, were the officers involved in the rescue.
Police commissioner Anupam Agrawal appreciated their humanitarian service.
