Udupi: Man arrested in 2008 theft case

Udupi, Jul 27: Shirva police have arrested a man in connection with a theft case from 2008.

The accused, identified as Rajendra alias Raja Vaddar, a resident of 80 Badagubettu Manipal Durga Kalladka, had been absconding and failing to attend court hearings.

He has now been remanded to judicial custody.

The arrest was carried out by HC Dharmappa, PCs Raghu, and Ritesh in Bengaluru, under the directive of Shirva police station SI Saktivelu E and Anil Kumar T Naik.
