Mangaluru, Jul 29: The annual general body meeting of the parent-teacher association of St Aloysius Gonzaga School was held on Saturday, July 27, in the Loyola Hall.

Chief guest Fr Melwin Joseph Pinto SJ, rector of St Aloysius Institutions, highlighted the vital role of parents in their children’s holistic development. Principal, Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ delivered the presidential address, discussing recent CBSE-aligned changes and the school's achievements. Abhilash Dominic, vice-president of the PTA for 2023-24, emphasized trust in teachers and the Jesuit legacy. 

Vice-principal Laurel D'Souza reviewed the previous year's proceedings, followed by presentation of the annual report and annual financial statement for 2023-24.

Gratitude was expressed to outgoing PTEC members. The new members for 2024-25 were welcomed by the rector and principal. Sushmitha K S welcomed the gathering and Aparna Suresh delivered the vote of thanks. The meeting was coordinated by vice principals Laurel D'Souza and Aparna Suresh.
