Mangalore: Tulsi Puja Celebrated with Devotional Fervour at Garody

Mangalore, Nov 8: People in large numbers participated enthusiastically in the annual Tulsi Puja celebrations at Kankanady Garody in the city on Monday November 7.
For the occasion, hundreds of earthen lamps were lit all over the premises of the Garody. The area around the Tulsi platform was tastefully decorated. The surroundings wore a festive look with flower decoration and green festoons. The illuminated Garody looked like a heavenly abode.
The gathering solemnly took part in the puja rituals performed on the occasion. At the end, Prasadam was distributed. The celebrations came to an end with the bursting of a variety of fire crackers.
