New Delhi, Nov 9: Have you come across Rahul Gandhi on Facebook? Did you send him a friend request? Did he accept you? Beware, Rahul Gandhi has no Facebook account, and the one you thought was his, was in fact a bogus.
Ankit Saini from Bhopal created a fake account in the name of the young Congress leader and AICC general secretary. Through this, he accepted friends, sent messages to Congress leaders, members of women Congress wing, and many other girls.
Siani was caught by the Bhopal police based on a complaint by Pankaj Chaturvedi, a spokesperson of a member of parliament from Bhopal. Saini, who is out on bail, said that he was angered by the government's midnight crackdown on Baba Ramdev and his activists at Ramlila grounds in June.
The cyber cell in Bhopal quickly tracked down Saini and recovered the laptop and the cell phone he used to create the Facebook account and send messages.
