'Tour of NH 66', a three-state motorcycle trip undertaken by 'The 3 Hungry Men' an exclusive portal of food reviewers and critics, was flagged off by city police commissioner Seemant Kumar Singh near the eatery ‘Hot Bitez’ on Jail Road here on November 11.

The tour is a quest for unearthing new eating places on NH 66 as well as in cities and towns on this highway connecting Mangalore with Mumbai.

‘The 3 Hungry Men’, comprising Nikhil Pai, R Rajath and Colin Vernon D'Souza, is Mangalore’s first and only food reviewing body and is operational in many major cities. It has staff based in Bangalore, Cochin, Hyderabad, Manipal, Pune and Goa and Kuwait currently.
 
In association with Hot Bitez, The 3 Hungry Men are on this trip of National Highway 66 in which they will be covering cities in 3 states - Karnataka, Goa and Maharashtra. They will be traveling through Mumbai, Pune, Mahabaleshwar, Goa, Gokarna, Kundapur and back to Mangalore to review various restaurants on the way.
 
Seemanth Kumar Singh after flagging off the rally participated in another important component of the programme featuring distribution of stationary and financial assistance to the needy school children from various orphanages as a part of the 'Joy of Giving week' celebration by the touring group along with the NGO 'Make a Difference' (MAD).
 
He also flagged-off the rally that took place within the city where a group of 10 or more responsible riders rode along with the 3 Hungry Men to promote safety while riding in the city which includes the necessity of wearing a helmet, protective gear and road sense.
 
The ride will end on November 22. The valedictory reception will take place on Sunday November 27 in Moti Mahal Hotel where MAD will have an event regarding career Counseling for the students.

    Hi every body
    If they are starting from mangalore let them cover all the eataries in Mangalore first.There are many kantapas,babanas,intrus,lingapas,souzas, entana shettys etc where food is available for throw away cost.

    While their intention may be good, they will not achieve their objective. If they wanted to find out the quality of food or the services, they should have gone without any publicity. Now that the hoteliers know their mission, the hoteliers will give them very good food with great service. The 3 of them will have nice time but they may not achieve their true objective. Anyway, all the best to them.
