Mangaluru: Kohinoor English Medium School celebrates India's 78th Independence Day

Mangaluru, Aug 17: Kohinoor English Medium School celebrated India's 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm on August 15. The event began with a flag hoisting ceremony led by the school president, Haji Abbas Sir, followed by patriotic songs performed by senior KG students.

The programme featured inspiring speeches by students, including Sahad, Midad, Mahashook, and Adeeba Ammal, as well as a cultural performance of the action song 'Nanna Munna'.

Chief guest Anil Kumar, corporator of MCC Mangaluru, and other esteemed guests shared motivational words about the importance of the day and the school’s progress.

Winners of the fancy dress and elocution competitions were awarded prizes. The celebration concluded with the national anthem and refreshments served to parents, students and spectators gathered.
