Dubai, Nov 14: Billawas Dubai & Northern Emirates one of the premier associations for Billawas in UAE has geared up to celebrate its 14th anniversary in Crowne Plaza Hotel, Shiekh Zayed Road, Dubai on 18th of November, 2011. The daylong event is scheduled to start sharp at 10 AM in the morning and continue the celebration till 6 PM in the evening complete with a sumptuous buffet lunch in the afternoon.
Vidhwan Pramod Ullal and Vidhushi Sunitha Jayanth have already arrived from India to train and present various pure classical dances during the programme with some innovative and authentic presentations. Additionally there are a variety of unique spectacular Classical, Semi Classical, Folk dance displays, Comedy skits, Yakshagana ballet ‘Tulu Nada Bali Chakravarthi’ and a special attraction titled ‘Tribute to Bollywood’ a presentation by the elders of BDNE followed with LIVE DJ Music.
On the whole the event is said to be a unique, never attempted before presentation, put-together with the latest technology and the whole programme will be live telecasted on ‘Namma TV’ throughout the world in TV & Web media for all the viewers including cable network.
Prof. Krishnappa Poojary, Principal of Shri. Gurudev P.U. College, Belthangadi will be the Chief Guest along with many more guests from India and Gulf countries who will grace the event. Various community leaders are also invited to be part of the programme.
Billawas Dubai & Northern Emirates (BDNE) started in a very small way and has grown to be a household name back in India because of their continuous timely commitment and maximum contribution to the society by way of providing education scholarships to the poor needy students in and around South Canara, also, Medical Aid to sick and helpless families back home. BDNE continuously receives requests for help which are scrutinized for genuineness and sanctions are made based on urgency of need. BDNE’s initiatives are well appreciated in various social circles and communities. Many excelling students are going to be recognized and felicitated for their academic achievements during the event along with best community workers from BDNE working Committee.
