SC to Hear Agnivesh's Plea in Amarnath Case

New Delhi, Nov 14: The Supreme Court will hear Swami Agnivesh's plea to quash charges against him in the Amarnath Case on Monday November 14.

The court has lashed him for his comment on Amartnath Yatra, saying public figures should be more sensitive towards people's sentiments.

Agnivesh in his comment on the Amarnath Yatra had said, "I do not understand those who go for Yatra, it is a religious deception."

The apex court also said that Public figures should weigh their words ten times before speaking.
