Mangaluru: Clarissa Angel Monteiro of SAPUC triumphs at state level weightlifting championship

Mangaluru, Aug 21: Clarissa Angel Monteiro of IPUC 21st batch has won two gold medals in the youth 81+ category and junior 87+ category, and a bronze medal in the Senior 87+ category at the State level Weightlifting Championship held at Mysuru.

Clarissa has been selected to compete in the National Level Championship to be held at Himachal Pradesh. Clarissa was trained under the able guidance of the coach Sarswathi Puthran.

The principal and staff have congratulated Clarissa on her remarkable achievements and extended their best wishes for her success at the National Level Championship.









Clarissa is the daughter of the elated parents, Wilfy Monteiro and Kavitha Monteiro.
