Kasargod: Youth killed in motorcycle-car accident

Kasargod, Aug 22: A young man lost his life in a bike-car collision that occurred on Thursday, August 22 evening at Cherkala K K Pura.

The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Ahmad Kabir from Mogral Khutubi Nagar, Kumble.

The accident took place while Kabir was returning after attending a relative's wedding invitation. He sustained severe injuries and was initially treated at a private hospital in Kasargod before being transferred to a hospital in Mangaluru, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Kabir was the owner of a clothing shop in Kumble town.

His body has been kept in the mortuary at Kasargod General Hospital and will be handed over to the family after the post-mortem. Vidyanagar police have registered a case.
